2017 Bingley Harriers Fell Championship
Over the past couple of years we seem to have lost a bit of focus on our club fell championship with only a few athletes targeting the selected races in order to gain points. So, again, this year we thought we’d give it a bit of a push and try and get as many folk as possible to each of the races in the championship.
Stephen Firth has been very careful in his race selection to try and ensure that everybody can have a go with a wide selection of Short, Medium and Long races with most of them local. For 2017 we’ve also added a new prize categories of V60 Female to equal out the prizes!
There are 12 races in the series (3 long, 4 medium and 5 short) and your best 8 scores count with 50 points being awarded to the first Bingley runner down to 1 point for the 50th runner (wouldn’t it be great to see 1 point awarded in at least one of the races – it is possible, we had 48 runners in the GWF relay!).
To get points you must be entered as a Bingley Harrier and club vests must be worn
