The last race in the League took place at Cliffe Castle on December 4th. The course was muddy, but conditions were considerably better than the year before.
We did not have representatives in either the U13 Girls or the U15 Boys, and it was our worst league turnout of the series. Nevertheless we did manage four scoring teams: our U11 Boys were 8th, U13 Boys 2nd, Under 17 Women 3rd, and U17 Men 3rd.
Individually, there were some fine performances, with the pick of the day being Rebecca Flaherty’s 1st place in the U11 Girls, and her brother Alex’s 1st place in the U13 Boys. I should also make special mention of the outstanding 14th place by Ben Rees – a really aggressive performance that showed his real potential.
However, as the results below demonstrate, there were fine efforts all round: well done everyone!
