The last race in the League took place at Nun Royd Park on December 6th. The course was extremely muddy and the windy conditions meant that our new tent had a rigorous christening.
We had representatives in all the races bar the Junior Men and Junior Women, we had the best league turnout of the series, and we did manage four scoring teams: our U11 Girls were 8th, U11 Boys 3rd, Under 13 Boys 5th, and U15 Girls 5th. All in all a most pleasing afternoon’s work!
Individually, there were some fine performances, with the pick of the day being Oliver Peace’s 3rd place in the U11 Boys, and Ruby Firth’s 5th place in the U13 Girls, a day after her splendid run in the English Schools Cup Final.
However, as the results below demonstrate, so many of our runners have reason to be pleased with what they achieved in very difficult conditions: well done everyone!
