The third race of the league was held in West Park, Leeds, and not only was there was a good turnout but also two individual successes:
Reuben Mantle secured his second win in the 7-9 Boys, and Alex Flaherty, on his debut in this League, pulverised the opposition in the 4-6 Boys.

I should make particular mention of the fine performance of Rebecca Flaherty, also making her debut, and showing great determination, as did the rest of our doughty competitors.
