The last race of this year’s League, organised by our neighbours, Saltaire Striders, took place at Northcliffe Playing Fields. We had very few runners, but the quality of performance made up for the lack of numbers: Reuben Mantle continued his excellent form, while his brother, Samuel, had his best run yet; Ruby Firth showed real promise; Jack Bradley and Joseph Treasure-Jones had their usual titanic tussle; and Lloyd Worrall and Ryan Bradley showed great spirit.
