Northcliffe Playing Fields was the (very muddy!) venue for the annual BSAA Championships, and it was very pleasing to see so many of our Club runners qualifying for the Bradford team for the West Yorkshire SAA Championships on February 1.
There were three individual winners, Vicki Merrick in the JG, Matthew Merrick in the JB, and Emile Cairess in the IB, two second places, Sarah Dewhirst in the SG and Max Duckett in the IB, and two thirds, Luca Zenti in the IB and Daniel Smithurst in the SB.
In all 13 of our runners qualified for the Bradford team, and I must also mention Jonathan Sutcliffe who finished 5th in the Year 7 race.
