Thank you to Sally for organising the summer run over to Rossendale, which was enjoyed by everyone that went, and thank you to Rossendale Harriers for their hospitality.
Unfortunately summer now appears to be behind us, so there are some dates to put in your diary:
Saturday 14th December 2013
Junior Christmas social (seniors also welcome) at the Memorial Hall, Eldwick (and access to the bar at the Birches) – social run in the afternoon; disco, awards and food in the evening.
Sunday 22nd December 2013
Senior Christmas trip to Chipping, Lancashire – 3 course meal (menu tbc), £25 a head including the coach (£20 without the coach), with the usual pick-up points from Thackley through to Keighley.
Saturday 15th March 2014
Annual Dinner at Oakwood Hall, Lady Lane, Bingley – £30 a head for a 3 course meal (menu tbc) with coffee/tea and chocolates, band etc.
Tickets for the junior Christmas social will be available on Tuesday/Thursday nights at training from myself, the junior coaches, Christine and Alan Oates etc. for £2 each – to cover food and so we know how many are coming.
Bookings and money very welcome for the Christmas trip and Annual Dinner.
