Bingley Harriers have a thriving junior section offering a wide range of athletic disciplines for boys and girls aged from 7/8 (school year 3) up to 18.
The club has great facilities, fantastic coaches (all of whom are CRB checked) and offers training, coaching and competition in :- Track and Field Indoor Sportshall Cross Country Road Running Fell Running We are always looking for new members to come and join the club and we assure you of a warm and friendly welcome whatever your age, gender or ability. Please see our junior training times listed to the right of this page for details of where and when we meet. There’s no obligation to join immediately, just come along and try out for a few weeks, then if you like what we offer sign up and become a member of the famous Bingley Harriers and wear your blue and white hoops with pride!!  This years Pulton Cup took place at Beckfoot on Tuesday 20th September when we were able to use the facilities at Beckfoot. The competition was in the form of a Quadathlon, Sprinting, Standing Long Jump, Foam Javelin and the 300m. By the last 300m taking place it was quite dark with timekeeping by torchlight. However the 50 plus athletes all seem to enjoy themselves with some thrilling competition. The presentation of the Pulton Cup and the Young Athletes points for points awards was made at Beckfoot after training on 18th October. Also awarded was the Patrick Meegan Trophy for the top athlete who competed in the Young Athletes League and this year was shared by Rebekah Tiler and Sam Allan. The Hound of the month award for September went to Rhea Southcott and the Hound of the Year award to Rebekah Tiler. Next year the Pulton Cup will be earlier in the year so all you juniors and seniors watch for details so that you can take part. Young Hound Of the Year 2011 - Rebekah Tiler
