A fine day and a sticky course saw cyclist Rob Jebb triumph with over 3 minutes to spare over Bingley's Andy Wood, the first runner. Robs time of 34.48 was just 27 seconds outside the course record set in 1999 by John Wilkinson of Extreme Sports. With only 13 cyclists taking part due to an event at Northcliffe Park the following day the runners secured a convincing victory - their sixth in a row.
Bob at the Fisherman was welcoming as usual and promised a hot bath for the club's Christmas Handicap.
