A good turnout this year, and good
weather, despite forecasts of a couple of inches of snow, a
light sprinkling, and frozen surface combined with wall to wall
sunshine to give perfect conditions. Rob Adamson was the one
to fool the handicapper this year (not for the first time) but,
judging by his gasping for breath at the finish, had run hard
to justify his crown. The presentation at the Fisherman was
significant, in that Malcolm Ebbage was presented with an award
to mark his fiftieth anniversary with Bingley. Congratulations
Malcolm.
