*D Lawson won the 1958 race however the trophy was incorrectly inscribed.

**The Club Championship is usually held at the end of the cross country season in March, the trophy being engraved for the corresponding year. During the period 1977-83 it was held at the beginning of the season in October or November, however the trophy continued for the most part to be engraved for the year in which the race was run. It appears that after the Championship in March 1975 the next time it was held was in February 1977 (inscribed as 1976), followed by November 1977. The race won by J Penrose in October 1983 was the Championship for the 1983/84 season and the inscription should more properly have been '1984'.
