James Senior ran 2 seconds faster than last year to record the fastest tie of the day over a muddy course and went home clutching a bottle of plonk for his trouble. The Hannah Lister trophy for the winner of the event was awarded to Kirstin Bailey who had the essential ingredients for success namely a high degree of fitness and an unreasonable handicap. Everyone else just had the latter (times and positions are approximate as both the timekeeper and recorder were without their glasses!).
