This match held in Wakefield on the 23/5/18 will be remembered as a highlight of this season, in that it saw a league record for one of our members.
The MU15 1500m League Record was set in 1981 by Richard Findlow and stood at 4.18.7. A determined Alexander Thompson stood on the start-line with the goal of attaining an English Schools qualifying time his time of 4.18.05 saw him not only achieve that but also become the new West Yorkshire League Mu15 record holder for the 1500m.
