It was very heartening that 21 of our athletes turned out to compete at this meeting. Held as a memorial for Sheila Bolland who was a much loved athlete and official this event raised funds for the Bloodwise charity.
It was encouraging to see people trying new events and seeing a host of new faces at a track & field match. It is always good to see our juniors turning out for events and I hope those new to track & field enjoyed the day.
As well as athletes we also had a number of Bingley officials helping oversee the smooth running of the event.
