The last race of this year’s League took place at Roundhay Park, and seven of our juniors took part, with four of them guaranteeing an overall position, by finishing in at least four of the five races..
In the year 4-6 Girls both Holly Walters and Fern Garbutt continued their fine progress, with Holly in 13th place and Fern in 24th. Grace Ross, in her second appearance in the league, finished in a promising 17th place.
In the year 4-6 Boys Louis Lancaster, who finished in 22nd place, and Seth Driver, in 30th, both notched up their fourth appearance.
Alex Flaherty, in what was his third appearance, again came 2nd, his overall position spoilt by the fact that he only ran in three races.
Although only 9 of our juniors took part in at least one race in the League, four of them did complete four of the five races. The progress they made is well reflected in their fine overall results:
