The Championships this year were held at GSAL on a dry, sunny day in the best conditions we have had for a while.
The Bradford team had one of its best-ever days, winning five of the eight team races, and Bingley juniors made a fine contribution to that success: Samuel Mantle and Oliver Peace both qualified for the Year 7 National Championships at Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire; Alex Flaherty in the Junior Boys, Emily Field in the Intermediate Girls, and Reuben Mantle in the Intermediate Boys, all qualified for the English Schools Championships at Norfolk Showground, Norwich. In addition, James Askew is a reserve in the Intermediate Boys, and Grace Dawson, Eliza Findlay, Katie Smith, and Izzy Harris were all scoring members of their respective teams.
