This year the 10k Road Championship was made up of a possible 13, 10k races of which the individuals best eight races will count to the overall score.

The scoring was 50 points 1st Bingley male/female home then 49 points for second male/female and so on; the best eight out of the above races to count, maximum point scored would be 8 x 50 = 400 points.

For all you statistic geeks, of which I am one of them, of the thirteen races that have taken place to date we have had 28 men and 21 ladies take part at these races completing a total of 118 10k, which is 731.6 miles run. Of which the fastest male 10k was Lee Athersmith in 34:15 at the Ribble Valley 10k race (29 December 2013) and the fastest lady was Emma Green in 41:28 at the Keighley BigK 10k race (30 March 2014).
