Congratulations to all the following athletes who so successfully represented the club at the Yorkshire County Championships. Good to see so many of you wearing the blue and white hooped vest at a county event. Thanks to all parents, guardians coaches and not least the athletes themselves for a splendid achievement.
Senior Men – Demetric Nelson 100m 10.75 1st in Heat, 100m 11.00 5th in Final, 200m 22.29 2nd in Final.
Senior Men – Adam Hellawell 100m 11.88 5th in heat.
Senior Women – Katherine James Long Jump 5.28m 3rd.
U20 Men – Aidan Leach Triple Jump 12.31 1st, 100m 11.67 3rd in Heat, 100m 11.70 8th in Final.
U20 Women – Lily Dooks 400m Hurdles 71.94 2nd. Personal best. Selected to run for Bradford in the West Yorkshire Schools Trials.
U17 Men – Jacob Gill High Jump 1.75 4th, 100m Hurdles 15.62 4th.
U17 Men – Paul Mercer High Jump 1.60 6th.
U17 Men – Tommy Thorp 800m 2.20.31 10th in Heat. Personal best.
U17 Men – Emile Cairess 3000m 8.53.69 1st.Overall winner of the combined U17 and U20 Men’s race. Selected to run for Bradford in the West Yorkshire Schools Trials. Has now achieved English schools qualifying time.
U15 Girl – Abigail Lampkin Long Jump 4.96 6th, 100m 13.59 4th in Heat.
U13 Boy – Jack Muir Long Jump 3.85 6th, 800m 2.29.24 2nd in Heat, 800m 2.35.68 8th in Final.
