The last race in the League took place on December 1st, a surprisingly mild day, and the course at NunRoydPark was as dry as I can ever remember.
Once again we had representatives in all of the races, even if we managed only three scoring teams: the U11 Boys were 6th, the U13 Boys 7th, and the U15 Boys 10th.
Individually, there were some outstanding performances: Emile Cairess clinched the overall U17 title with a controlled piece of front running; Vicki Merrick showed her racing qualities to finish 2nd in the U15 Girls; Reuben Mantle, after a very fast start, showed great determination to hang on to 9th place in the U13 Boys. I should also mention the continuing progress of Ruby Firth in the U11 Girls, and Jack Bradley in the U13 Boys.
