Great day out at a muddy English Schools Cross Country Championship in Derbyshire. Bingley Harriers Emile Cairess, Matthew Merrick and Victoria Merrick were representing West Yorkshire Schools in the Year 10/11 and Year 8/9 races. Emile was 1st counter in his race (qualified 1st), Vicki was 6th counter in the girls team (qualified 8th so improved by 2 places) and Matt was 5th counter in the boys race (qualified 7th so improved by 2 places), great achievement by all 3 of them as they were running in the lower age group in the races.
